From Ordinary to Luxury

So, you’ve worked hard to achieve the good life, and finally purchased your dream condo.

But does it truly live up to your standards? How are you going to make your living room stand out, or add visual interest to your master bedroom? We share tips on how you can elevate your home – from ordinary to luxury.

Try Minimalism

A minimalist look is stylish and visually exciting but may require you to set aside some time. Re-editing and discarding unnecessary items will keep your home free of clutter, giving each room a more spacious, cleaner, and minimal aesthetic.

Design Your Feature Wall

To add character to a room, first, select the right wall as your focal point based on size and location. Choosing the right place to draw everyone’s eye to will make all the difference and will also  give a particular depth and interest to the space.

Secondly, color selection is key. Try to tie-in colors that complement your wall paint choice with decorative pillows, finishes or accessories. Following this helps with connecting different parts of your space together and creates more of a visual cohesion.

Lighting

There are multiple ways to elevate your space and make it look more luxurious. One of the most effective tools in achieving that goal is lighting. Light bulbs and fixtures can add a new dimension, make a space look bigger and brighter,  and also enhance the overall feel of a specific room. One simple fix that can make your home more luxurious is to replace any old fixtures with new ones to establish a more modern vibe.

Whether you choose from a selection of dining room chandeliers or ceiling fans, statement lighting fixtures can be in a different style or color than the rest of your room. The key is to have it be unique in some way, drawing the eye and creating an interesting contrast.
